Laura Mudd, M.Ed., has a master’s degree in education, specializing in bilingual education and ESL. She is currently the dual language coordinator for the Erie Elementary Charter School in Chicago. She is also a consultant for a literacy project with the Erickson Institute. Ms. Mudd led the effort to create the dual language program in Evanston Public Schools. She was also a dual language fourth grade teacher at the Inter-American Magnet School in Chicago for four years after she traveled and lived in Spain and Central America. Ms. Mudd has four children that she is raising bilingually in Evanston.
