Lauren is a Disabilities Consultant for the Early Childhood Disability Transition Team at Erikson Institute. In this position, she serves as a consultant to the Early Head Start programs under the Department of Family Support Services, supporting staff in the observation, identification, and individualization of children with special needs.

She is a speech pathologist by training and spent her time prior to joining Erikson working with pediatric populations from birth through middle school across a variety of settings. She has extensive experience with assessment and treatment and continues to use her skills as a therapist in her daily work supporting children and staff within the EHS program.

Lauren earned a Masters in Health Sciences from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency with the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. She holds additional licensure through the state of Illinois and the Illinois State Board of Education.
