Nicole Polash has worked with children and families in a variety of settings and capacities since 2005, including teaching in early childhood classrooms, providing support to teaching staff regarding curriculum and professional development, collecting and analyzing developmental outcome data, and providing training on strengths based practice. As a disabilities consultant, Nicole supports Early Head Start programs in the inclusion of children with suspected or diagnosed disabilities and their families through staff training and technical assistance. Nicole earned her master’s degree in child development and post-master’s certificate in infant mental health from Erikson Institute. She is a member of the Illinois Association of Infant Mental Health.
