Erikson Institute is pleased to announce a special scholarship opportunity for experienced infant/family specialist and mental health professionals.
The scholarships, valued at 75% of tuition, will be awarded to a select group of 6–8 incoming students in the Irving B. Harris Infant Mental Health Certificate Program.
Costs
Students will be responsible for the remaining 25% of tuition, annual student services fees (approximately $500 per year), $70 matriculation fee, tuition for prerequisite courses (if applicable), and expenses related to transportation, books, and supplies.

Eligible students may also apply for low-interest federal loans to fund expenses not covered by the scholarship. Visit our financial aid section for more information.

Applications are due by March 15. We encourage you to apply early to be considered for scholarship funding.

Requirements for admission
Applicants will be interviewed and selected on the basis of their academic performance, work history, and suitability for the field of infant mental health.
Courses in Erikson’s infant mental health certificate program are offered at the graduate level. Therefore, all applicants must have a master’s degree and a minimum of three years experience with young children and families in order to be considered for admission to the program.

- A $40 application fee

An official, sealed copy of ALL previous college/university transcripts, even if you did not receive a degree from the institution. Note: Transcripts must be mailed to Erikson directly from each college/university’s registrar office.
- Three letters of recommendation; recommendation form is included as part of the Supplemental Forms packet
- A personal interview with an Erikson faculty member
Admission information
The certificate program is a 20–month program beginning with the fall 2012 semester on August 30, 2012. Prerequisite courses begin on May 14, 2012.
