Overview
The master of science in child development degree provides a deep, interdisciplinary understanding of early childhood development. It offers excellent preparation for professional or leadership roles in the full range of disciplines and systems that serve young children and their families, including education, child care, social service, mental health, policy, and health care.
Graduates have had notable success in fields as different as museum education and public policy analysis. If your primary interest is infancy or program administration, you may also pursue one of four specializations by taking additional courses and completing a targeted internship.
