Erikson’s new campus takes center stage
City officials, alumni, donors, friends, students, and supporters were on hand to celebrate when we ceremoniously opened Erikson's new home on Oct. 16. Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley and his wife, Maggie, joined Alderman Brendan Reilly and trustees for the
official ribbon cutting. Two days later,
an open house attended by 150 alumni, early childhood professionals, and guests showcased current work of faculty and alumni.
The campus—a major goal in the
Campaign for Erikson—doubled our space, providing more classrooms, an expanded library, and clinical areas for working directly with children and families.
Erikson launches assessment center
Despite growing attention to early intervention with at-risk children in Illinois, unmet and growing needs remain for assessment, referral, and affordable treatment.
Erikson is stepping into that gap with our new
Center for Children and Families, which provides multidisciplinary, family-centered direct services for children from birth to age eight who have developmental, social-emotional, behavioral, and learning issues. The center provides early intervention and infant mental health services while incorporating Erikson's
Fussy Baby Network. To learn more about how you can support this exciting new initiative,
