Capito has extensive experience managing programs for Early Head, Head Start, Healthy Steps, Healthy Families, and the Department of Children and Family Services programming. She has led the creatiion of community-based collaboration through social services agencies, home visiting services, public health programming and healthcare systems. Currently, she is the director of Positive Parenting DuPage, which unites dozens of organizations that serve children and families in an effort to improve parenting and enhance healthy child development.
