Judith Bertacchi has been a leader in the early childhood field throughout her
career. She was a founder and past president of the Illinois Association for
Infant Mental Health and served as a vice president at the Ounce of Prevention
Fund. While Director of the Virginia Frank child Development Center, she
expanded the primary prevention and consultation services focused on early
intervention and support to staff working with young children and their families.
She is a well known expert in the field of reflective practice and supervision.
She has published articles and edited books on these topics. She is a graduate
of Erikson Institute.
