Overview
There’s a new way to take your practice to the next level—
and it's right here at your fingertips.
Designed especially for early childhood educators with at least three years of post-baccalaureate experience, Erikson’s new online master of science degree in early childhood education helps you do what you love to do, and do it better.
This 28-month program gives you a deeper understanding of how children grow and learn and of the role their families, communities, and culture play in their development and success.
It offers you membership in a community of practice where you can
- integrate and apply critical child development theory to your work as an educator;
- develop and refine advanced practice skills; and
- identify and focus on the aspects of education that matter most to you—as a teacher, a curriculum coordinator, or a director/principal.
It’s a structured cohort program, so you'll have peers to collaborate with and learn from. And it’s online, so you can work at home, in the office, in the early morning, or late at night—wherever and whenever you want.
It’s the perfect way to reach your potential as an educator without forgoing a life outside the classroom.
Erikson Institute is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and a member of the North Central Association based in Chicago.
Accreditation is limited to master’s degrees and certificates in fields related to child development and early childhood education.
