I361 – Designing Quality Child Care for Infants, Toddlers and Their Families
3 Credit Hours
This course addresses the key principles and policies underlying
the design of quality child care programs for children
under three and their families. Building on a model of
relationship-based care, this course provides an exploration
of the components of quality care and helps participants
reflect on program philosophy that will help guide
day-to-day practice. Course participants will be required
to consider both the theoretical and practical implications
of quality standards for very young children and reflect
on their own interpretations of how this may be best
supported.
