Barbara T. Bowman, Erikson’s interim president for external affairs, talked with the Chicago Tribune about leading the Institute for the third time since its founding.

“I can’t tell everyone else to work hard if I don’t work hard, too,” Bowman says. “And it is not like I don’t like doing most of the things that I do. It is not punishment. I am enjoying doing it.”

Bowman is guiding Erikson along with co-president Frances Stott as the search for the next president progresses.
