Erikson professor Linda Gilkerson was named one of the “50 people who make Chicago a better place” by the Chicago Sun-Times on Aug. 25.

The paper noted that the Fussy Baby Network, which Gilkerson launched in 2004, has been a lifesaver for more than 3,000 families who cannot soothe their newborns. The network provides comfort, support, ideas, and evaluations through a telephone warmline, home visits, and a clinic.
