Aleida, M.A., D.T., has worked in the field of early childhood since 2005, including serving as a kindergarten teacher in Mexico. In Chicago, she has worked as a Head Start teacher, FCCH network coordinator, and parent/infant educator in the Early Head Start Program. Aleida holds a bachelor’s degree in early childhood and a master’s degree in language and culture. She holds a credential as an Early Intervention Specialist in Developmental Therapy and certifications as an Infant/Toddler Specialist and lactation counselor. She is approved as a trainer for the Illinois Trainers Network and Gateways to Opportunity Registry.
