Pivot your existing master’s degree and become a teacher for children from birth to second grade.
This intensive, one-year, post-master’s teaching certificate program is open to candidates with a graduate degree in a discipline similar to education or child development. It meets the requirements for initial Illinois Professional Educator Licensure with endorsement in Early Childhood Education.
Program includes one year of student teaching. You must pass the Early Childhood Education exam #206 prior to student teaching, and the edTPA during your final student teaching semester.
