Helping schools, districts and centers develop new skills for their everyday activities.
We work with school districts, agencies, and other groups to create and deliver focused, practical education and support for early childhood professionals. Whether you need a long-term program extending over multiple years or a short, topic-specific seminar, you will benefit from Erikson’s deep knowledge in early childhood.
Like our degree programs, our customized training is rooted in the latest research and delivered by expert faculty, while online communities of practice keep your staff engaged between sessions. And we can deliver training in the format that works for you be it in person, online, or a combination of both.
We created a program that is transforming educators’ understanding of young children’s math development.
Educators from public and private schools across the islands meet several times during this yearlong professional development program, to focus on early math concepts. With the generous support of the Samuel N. and Mary Castle Foundation, participants receive in-person and online training, and also network with peers who share the same passion and desire to improve their classroom skills. Overwhelmingly, participants in this program describe feeling more confident about teaching math in their classrooms.
The program was developed with our client partners, Chaminade University, the Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Center for Early Education and Development (CEED), and KCAA Preschools of Hawaii.
Educators in this customized training program build their understanding of early math throughout the year in several ways.
This program represents the best of everything Erikson has to offer, including:
