In this webinar, participants will explore the Big Ideas of measurement and deepen their own understanding of this important mathematical topic. We will consider how children develop measurement concepts and how to recognize when these same ideas arise in everyday life and how to amplify the math talk in these teachable moments. Participants will go away with strategies for engaging children in thinking about the many different kinds of “big” in their environment.
