Description
This training will address the principles of early intervention related to Comprehensive plans and Quality of services. This comprehensive training on DC:0-5 targeting advanced clinicians from fields of mental health, health, and early intervention who are responsible for diagnosis. Attendees will learn about the multi-axial approach to diagnosis, an approach which is developmentally informed, relationship-based, contextually and culturally grounded. Understand the contents of each axis, including Axis I: Clinical Disorders. Understanding this diagnostic classification will inform treatment planning and specific goals across the interdisciplinary team and transdisciplinary activities related to services. Designed for advanced practitioners such as mental health clinicians, psychiatrists, pediatricians, nurse practitioners, and early intervention specialists whose work with infants, young children, and their families involves assessment, diagnosis, and case formulation.
