The Carole Robertson Center for Learning, in partnership with Erikson Institute, Illinois Action for Children, and the McCormick Center for Early Childhood Education, is excited to be hosting this panel on Family Child Care: Understanding the Sector’s Contribution in Supporting Children and Families. Following a complimentary breakfast, attendees will have the opportunity to gain a 360 perspective on the family child care model. The speakers on this panel, including Kathy Stohr of the Pritzker Foundation, Teri Talan of the McCormick Center at National Louis University, Juliet Bromer of Erikson Institute, and Deborah Chalmers of Illinois Action for children, will cover a range of topics, from the national landscape and trends around family childcare to the business side of providers. Following their presentations, guests will have the opportunity to hear from the Carole Robertson Center’s Sonja Crum Knight and two family child care providers will address other key topics and additional questions.
