Infant Mental Health Certificate Program Scholarship

The scholarships, valued at 75% of tuition, will be awarded to a select group of students in the Infant Mental Health Certificate Program.

Costs

Students will be responsible for the remaining 25% of tuition, annual student services fees (approximately $600 per year), $70 matriculation fee, tuition for prerequisite courses (if applicable), and expenses related to transportation, books, and supplies.

Eligible students may also apply for low-interest federal loans to fund expenses not covered by the scholarship.

Requirements for admission

Applicants will be interviewed and selected on the basis of their academic performance, work history, and suitability for the field of infant mental health.

Courses in Erikson’s infant mental health certificate program are offered at the graduate level. Therefore, all applicants must have a master’s degree and a minimum of three years experience with young children and families in order to be considered for admission to the program.

Additional requirements for admission include:

  • Completion of application for admission to Infant Mental Health Certificate program, which can be accessed here.
  • A $40 application fee
  • An official, sealed copy of all previous college/university transcripts, even if you did not receive a degree from the institution. Note: Transcripts must be mailed to Erikson directly from each college/university’s registrar office.
  • Two letters of recommendation; recommendation form is included as part of the Supplemental Forms packet
  • A personal interview with an Erikson faculty member
