Erikson offers one of the only STEM graduate certificates specifically professionals working with young children from PreK though third grade.
The Early Childhood STEM certificate provides you in with an approach to teaching science, technology, engineering, and mathematics where children use critical thinking, problem solving and collaborative skills. The courses will give you the necessary grounding in how children explore, play, communicate, and learn about the natural and human-made world around them. From policies, practices, and frameworks to developing STEM lesson plans, our graduate certificate program students will be well equipped to provide children with a strong early STEM experience.
Our online certificate program is designed for candidates who have completed a bachelor’s degree, currently work with children and families, and want to develop expertise in leadership and advocacy for professional advancement.
Erikson Institute accepts applications on a rolling basis.
