If you are passionate about infants, toddlers, and their families, there has never been a better time to pursue infant studies.
Prepare for the complex and in-demand role of an infant/family specialist who is skilled in working with children and families in the context of their culture and community. You will choose a concentration in one of two practice areas: Early Learning and Family Support or Prevention/Early Intervention, and complete a two-semester internship in your area of focus.
By enrolling in this certificate program, you can work toward completing the requirements for the following Illinois Gateways to Opportunity Credentials:
- Early Childhood Education Credential Level 5
- Infant/Toddler Credential Level 5
