Prepare to improve your skills and advance your career as an administrator and leader of early childhood programs. You’ll learn to plan and implement the administrative systems needed to effectively carry out an organization’s mission.

  • Explore organizational development and the ethical responsibilities of an administrator.
  • Learn how to supervise, implement programs, budget, evaluate, manage organizational resources, and resolve conflicts.
  • This concentration prepares you to seek the Gateways to Opportunity Illinois Director Credential (IDC) at Level 3 through the Entitled Route. To earn this credential, you will need to complete the appropriate Gateways applications, provide additional documentation of professional experiences and contributions, and demonstrate eligibility for the Illinois Gateways to Opportunity ECE Credential at Level 5 or higher.
