Erikson Institute offers an advanced standing option within its Master of Social Work (MSW) program.

Students receive credit for their BSW experience, allowing them to bypass select courses to graduate in two years — saving time and money, and gaining a competitive edge by entering the workforce faster, and with more opportunity for career advancement. Up to 28 credit hours can be waived. The number of credit hours waived is determined in a case by case basis and not every applicant who applies will receive advanced standing status nor the maximum course waiver of 28 credits. The MSW program does not grant course credit for its degree program based on life experience or previous work experience.

If you are taking advantage of the Advanced Standing option*, students who start in Fall 2020 are also eligible for a guaranteed scholarship. The Advanced Standing scholarship offer for full-time students is $15,000 or $10,000 for part-time students for the entirety of the program.

*Guaranteed scholarships are available for students who begin their degree program in Fall 2020. Scholarship eligibility is contingent upon admission and completion of a FASFA. Additional requirements for Advanced Standing apply. Tuition rates are subject to change. Please refer to www.erikson.edu/finaid for details.
