Balance your MSW with your life by taking classes part-time through our 100% online program.
Erikson Institute is pleased to announce a new Online Master of Social Work and the inaugural cohort starts Fall 2021. Erikson’s MSW program is one of the only developmentally informed MSW programs. Whether you choose our Campus or Online program, our curriculum will help you gain an understanding of child development and the impact early experiences can have over a lifetime.
This part time, Online Master of Social Work program features the Children, Adolescents and Adults concentration. You will prepare to support children, adolescents, and adults through evidence-based and developmentally informed interventions and strategies that improve their lives. This concentration helps train social workers who are interested in the following roles:
- Clinical practice with children, adolescents, and adults in a range of settings, including mental health, adoption, family support, child welfare, health care, early intervention, and education.
- Relationship-based collaborative work with caregivers and other adults.
- Advocacy work on behalf of families and communities.
- Consultation and support to the systems and organizations that serve youth and adults.
Through our relationship-based education, you’ll build strong connections within Erikson, the MSW community and the people you serve. Your child development courses will be asynchronous and your practice courses and seminars will be a combination of asynchronous and synchronous. This combination will allow you to engage in real-time with professors and fellow students and apply the material you are learning in your courses.
Looking to complete your MSW? Erikson welcomes transfer students to this Online MSW provided their prior credits come from another CSWE accredited program. Contact [email protected] for more information.
