United States QuickFacts – QuickFacts provides statistics for all states and counties, and for cities and towns with a population of 5,000 or more. From this page, you can also access all other US Census Bureau data finding tools, such as American FactFinder, Easy Stats, and much more.
Chicago Affordable Housing Fact Book – A project of the Nathalie P. Voorhees Center for Neighborhood and Community Improvement, these fact sheets offer neighborhood data regarding population, race and ethnicity, income and housing, and are intended for research, policy, advocacy and action around affordable housing issues in Chicago communities.
National Center for Education Statistics – The primary federal entity for collecting and analyzing data related to education, NCES provides multiple ways to search for education information, from early childhood through post-secondary education.

National Center for Health Statistics – The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention offers this service for up-to-date information on health related topics such as diseases and conditions, injuries, life stages and populations, health care and insurance, births and deaths, and much more.
Health Indicators Warehouse – A collaborative effort across the Department of Health and Human Services, the Health Indicators Warehouse provides data to foster understanding of a community’s health status and determinants, and facilitate the prioritization of interventions.
Illinois Department of Public Health – The IDPH Data and Statistics site provides a wealth of information, including vital statistics, community health data, hospital report cards, diseases and conditions, and much more.
City of Chicago Public Health Statistics – The Chicago Department of Public Health maintains this site with tatistics related to public health in Chicago. Topics include birth and mortality rates, environmental health, chronic and infectious diseases and community health indicators.
EJSCREEN – Provided by the Environmental Protection Agency, EJSCREEN combines environmental and demographic indicators in maps and reports.
Bureau of Labor Statistics – The US Department of Labor maintains this site with up-to-date statistical information regarding employment, unemployment, pay and benefits, inflation and prices, consumer spending, international comparisons and more.
