Since graduating in 2002, she has served in progressively more responsible positions at Erikson.
Bynum began as a research assistant before becoming an adjunct faculty member, professional development instructor, director of career services, and her culminating position as assistant dean for academic affairs.
“In all of these efforts, her work was exemplary and she demonstrated what is quintessentially Stephanie — namely, a lovely mixture of hard work, common sense, deep knowledge, warmth, and effectiveness,” wrote Aisha Ray, senior vice president for academic affairs and dean of faculty, in an email to Erikson faculty and staff. “She has truly put her mark on the Institute and for that we are extremely grateful.”
Erikson will be starting a search process to fill the position in academic affairs.
