At Erikson, fostering the development of young African American males is a raison d’être of their mission.

As I have observed and interacted with the dedicated people at Erikson over the years, my own appreciation and commitment to an emphasis on excellence in early childhood education, especially for African American males, has continued to grow.

I commend Erikson for the outstanding work they have done and continue to do.”

Aisha Ray, senior vice president for academic affairs and dean of faculty, was a featured panelist at the summit, which was presented by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council of the Great City Schools on August 27.
