Eight Chicago public schools work with Early Math Project’s Innovations program
Erikson’s Early Math Education Project will be working with eight Chicago public schools through its new Innovations program. This new program is funded by one of only 49 “Investing in Innovation” (i3) grants from the U.S. Department of Education, and seeks to help more than 2,000 Chicago prekindergarten through third grade students reach or exceed state mathematics standards.
To celebrate the launch of the program, all of the participating teachers, school administrators and chief area officers were invited to Erikson’s campus for an evening of orientation, workshops and socializing on June 2, 2011.
