Through simple hands-on experiments, you will explore some of the major building blocks of a child’s brain and discover simple tools for understanding the inner workings. Come for a glimpse into the world of young children and how they experience, make sense of, and navigate their environment.

Margret Nickels, director of the Center, will serve as your guide on this exploration.

The lab is offered as part of Chicago Ideas Week, an annual seven-day celebration of ideas, innovation, and community, and hosted by Erikson’s Center for Children and Families.

*REQUIREMENTS: Must be 14 or older to participate. No outside food or drink allowed.
