Erikson staff and alumni will participate in the Collaboration for Early Childhood‘s annual symposium. This year’s theme is PLAY is FUNdamental: Empowering Young Children Through Active Exploration.

Attendees will have the opportunity to visit Lisa Ginet at the Early Math Collaborative’s Play Station during the lunch break.

New Schools Project director Chris Maxwell will participate in the panel discussion, “Play is Practicing for Life,” joined by Denita Farmer and Doris Knuth.

Erikson alumnus Jim Gill, M.Ed. ’93, is the keynote speaker.

The symposium provides an opportunity for parents, educators, and caregivers to gain knowledge, perspective, practical skills, and tools to support young children.
