Come listen to M.S.W. faculty candidate Nucha Isarowong, A.M., LCSW, present a talk to the Erikson community entitled “What Did I Tell You?: A Systematic Examination of the Functions of Child-Directed Parental Language of Urban, Low-Income, African American Families.” Please join us for this exchange of ideas among scholars.

Isarowong is currently working on his doctorate at the School of Social Service Administration at the University of Chicago. His research focuses on early childhood development and parenting of children from birth to five years old in diverse socio-cultural contexts.

His teaching interests include human development and behavior in the social environment, therapeutic interventions with young children and families from diverse socio-cultural contexts, and the implications and application of the social work code of ethics into practice.
