Fussy Baby Network praised for helping prevent abuse

Erikson’s Fussy Baby Network was praised in the Peoria Journal Star as a program that can help prevent child abuse.

Dave Clarkin of the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services was quoted talking about the program in a column by Phil Luciano.

“Although there are areas of intense poverty in both Chicago and the Cook County suburbs, those areas also have strong programs that inoculate communities from abuse and neglect […] resources like the Fussy Baby Network that provide home visits for parents of young children, licensed day care centers in every neighborhood, after-school programs, social service programs (and) church programs in every neighborhood,” Clarkin is quoted as saying.
