Changes in a child's behavior could signal a mental health issue, says Nickels

The trend follows the tragic shooting at an elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut. Nickels shared warning signs of mental health issues and encouraged parents to seek help if they have concerns.

She added, “[If] you cannot clearly explain what precipitated the child’s change in behavior, that’s one thing that you should notice.”
