Use Pokémon Go as an opportunity to model healthy media habits, Kaldor says

Tamara Kaldor, M.S., assistant director of Erikson Institute’s Technology in Early Childhood Center, shares with CBS 2 Chicago and Fox 32 Chicago how parents can keep their young children safe while also engaging with them as they play the wildly popular Pokémon Go app.

“It can be easy to get caught up in a new game and virtual reality,” she says. “Parents play an important role as media mentors in helping children navigate and make sense of the real world and the virtual world.”
