Professional development funds available from Illinois Action for Children

Illinois Action for Children is offering financial support for practitioners pursuing professional development in early care and education and school-age care.

These funds can be used for Erikson’s professional development offerings, as well as other workshops, conferences, and professional credentials.

Applications and all supporting documentation must be received by Illinois Action by June 1, 2012. Funds for this program are provided by the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) and will be based upon availability.

Additional support for professional development

Early childhood practitioners can also contact their local Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) agency to inquire about funding opportunities for accreditation and professional development.
