“In this always-connected digital age, educators need to be thoughtful and intentional when deciding if, when, how, and why to integrate and use technology tools in active and engaging ways,” says Chip Donohue, director of the TEC Center. “In the hands of an informed educator, technology tools can enhance creative play, exploration, outdoor experiences, and social interactions.”

The TEC Center will provide resources, real-world examples, and professional development opportunities to early childhood educators and teacher educators interested in using technology to help children learn.

“We invite you to participate and contribute to our emerging community of educators interested in effective and appropriate uses of technology with young children,” says Donohue.
