Use tech to develop digital literacy and advance skills, Donohue says

While more research is needed on technology in early childhood classrooms, Donohue says it shouldn’t be a question of either teaching digital literacy or using technology while teaching other subjects. Rather, educators should do both.

“Use [technology] as a tool for learning and, in the process of doing that, learn how it works,” Donohue says.
