Catherine Murray

Catherine has practiced in the field of Infant/Early Childhood Mental Health for over 10 years, and as a Clinical Social Worker for nearly 20 years. She currently is the Coordinator of the Training Program for the International Council on Development and Learning (ICDL), while maintaining a small private practice focused on DIRFloortime with young children and their families. Catherine joyfully teaches the Developmental Interventions course within the IECMH Certificate Program and is a Content Expert with the Infant Toddler Credential Pilot Program. Her own experience as a student at Erikson transformed the way she practiced and thought, introducing her to reflective practice, ways of approaching work with children and their families, and a network of remarkable colleagues. She brings this experience into classes with a deep commitment to the relationships and creative exploration that happens in learning and reflecting together.
