Maggie Brett
Program Director, Master of Social Work Program; Senior Instructor
Maggie Brett, LCSW is the interim MSW program director and the director of MSW practicum education.
Maggie has almost 40 years of experience as a social worker, primarily focused on clinical work with children and families. Additionally, she has worked as an infant and early childhood mental health consultant to support birth-to-three and preschool programs.
She previously served as the co-founder and clinical director of the Columbus Hospital Child Protection Center and founding site director of the South Suburban Chicago-La Rabida Children’s Advocacy Center, establishing the centers to serve children within their communities.
Throughout her career, Maggie has been committed to supporting and mentoring student social workers beginning as a field instructor through to her current position as interim MSW program director and director of MSW practicum education.
