Marina Ragonese-Barnes

Senior Research Analyst

Marina Ragonese-Barnes (MPH) is a senior research analyst at the Herr Research Center at Erikson Institute in Chicago where she is engaged in research on home-based child care quality and sustainability. She has experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methods and has worked on several research initiatives focused on the workforce dynamics of family child care and the programs and policies that support this workforce. She currently is a team member of the federally funded Home-Based Child Care Supply and Quality Project, as well as an evaluation partner with Homegrown’s Building Comprehensive Networks Project, and a key member of Erikson Institute’s partnership with the National Center on Early Childhood Quality Assurance. Ragonese-Barnes received her Master of Public Health from the University of Illinois Chicago.
