Meghan Worrell

Part-time Faculty

Meghan has worked in the early childhood field for 11 years. She was a teacher and director at an early childhood center, and for the past 7 years, she has worked at Ann & Robert H Lurie Children's Hospital as a Child Life Specialist. Additionally, she teaches higher learning at Malcolm X College of Chicago as an adjunct faculty in the child development department. As an experienced Child Life Specialist, Meghan teaches a core child life course: Therapeutic Play in Pediatric Health Care Settings. Meghan is passionate about child development, child life and adult learning, and is excited to share her experiences with students and impact the field with the next generation of Child Life Specialists.
