Sabrina has an M.A. in Child Development, Tufts University; M.A. in Puppetry, University of Connecticut; Ph.D. in Media, Technology, and Society, Northwestern University. Her child development experience includes research, teaching, and product development. In addition to teaching at Erikson, she works full-time as a researcher at Lexia Learning, an educational technology software company dedicated to supporting literacy development. Sabrina has worked to support the development of educational products for children for 15 years, including numerous award-winning toys and apps.
Sabrina teaches a core course, C426 Cognitive Development, both online and in-person and is continually inspired by the incredibly hard-working and passionate students at Erikson. Being a part of the Erikson community supports her passion for establishing and improving educational opportunities for children. She also loves working with students to help them apply key concepts and theories in ways that are practical, tangible, and relevant to their professional goals.
