Sally has worked in the field of Child Welfare and early childhood mental health for over 18 years, first as a case manager in specialized foster care before moving into clinical work and later, program management. She currently directs the Child Welfare program at JCFS Chicago which provides clinical services to families affected by the foster care system in Illinois. As a professional who treasures the gifts of knowledge that have been passed along to her throughout her time in the field, Sally is passionate about honoring the legacy of these teachers by sharing knowledge with others. Teaching Erikson students is one way she can create change in the field, by encouraging and supporting curiosity, inclusion, and reflection in daily practice.
