An accomplished admission and recruitment professional with two decades of progressive experience in educational settings including Dominican University, DePaul University, University of Illinois at Chicago, and National Louis University, Arika comes to Erikson with a wealth of skills and experience.

Arika has developed and assessed recruitment and yield programs, working collaboratively and cross-departmentally. She has cultivated new pipelines for prospective students through partnerships with local educational and community organizations. She has managed and maintained the daily operations of admission offices, built and nurtured teams, and proactively researched and developed more efficient processes for applicants.

Born in Chicago and raised on the city’s South Side, Arika is family oriented and mother to a 5-year-old daughter. A self-proclaimed introverted extrovert, Arika enjoys home decorating and DIY projects, and reality and true crime television shows. When not at home, Arika loves to travel.

Kinniel has worked in the Admissions setting for over 15 years and has assisted thousands of students at a variety of grade levels at various institutions ranging from trade school upward to graduate level studies. Kinniel credits his success to his willingness to be selfless, solution-oriented, and effectively communicating interdepartmentally. He is passionate about social advocacy and social justice issues, and has made it his mission to be a positive change agent.

Born and raised in Chicago, Kinniel is equipped with the ability to successfully integrate within diverse professional settings and the ability to quickly adapt to unpredictable situations.

During his spare time, Kinniel enjoys grilling, traveling, being active and cheering on all major professional Chicago sport teams.
