Gil Martinez is Erikson Institute’s Registrar. Gil has extensive experience in higher education administration including over 12 years combined experience as a Registrar at Concordia University, Lewis University and DeVry University.

Gil earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a major in Spanish. Gil also holds a Master of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Gil has a passion for education and for his position as Registrar. He considers his position a calling and not just a career. Gil is interested in preparing Erikson for the future including the creation of policy and procedure that will enable the establishment of automation and efficiencies in registration, scheduling, record keeping, compliance and service to students.

In his role as Registrar, Gil collaborates closely with the Director of Academic and Institutional Research, the Associate Director of Academic and Institutional Affairs and the Director of Academic advising. Gil also works with other departments such as Financial Aid, Admission, and Academics.
