Improving early care and education of young children is one of the best investments you can make. You build better futures for kids, a stronger society, and a smarter workforce.

When you support Erikson, you help us reach nearly 3,000 early childhood professionals through our academic programs, professional development, and work in the community. Each year, our students, alumni, faculty, and researchers touch the lives of a quarter million children and families.

From scholarships to school improvement initiatives and research projects, there are many worthwhile ways that your corporate giving program can support our work in the service of children. Some examples:

  • The Boeing Company provides scholarship support to Chicago Public School teachers earning a master’s degree at Erikson, as well as a cohort of early childhood teachers earning bilingual/English as a Second Language certification. This project fulfills The Boeing Company’s Early Learning/K-12 strategy to drive systemic improvement in public schools by dramatically improving the teacher talent pool.
  • CME Trust and the Robert R. McCormick Foundation have partnered with Erikson to improve early childhood mathematics instruction in Chicago Public Schools. Generous grants support Erikson’s Early Math Collaborative, providing early childhood teachers with the training needed to bolster their mathematical knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject. Over the course of the three-year project, nearly 300 teachers will filter back into the school system better equipped to introduce mathematics to an estimated 3,000 pre-k and kindergarten students each year from diverse backgrounds.

Event sponsorship opportunities are another high-visibility way to support Erikson’s mission. Corporate support of Erikson’s Children at the Forefront Luncheon is welcomed, and ultimately helps provide funding for our varied academic programs. This annual event is attended by hundreds of high-profile business and civic leaders.

Naming opportunities on our campus, located on LaSalle Street in Chicago’s River North neighborhood, are also available.

Our corporate partners receive special recognition in Erikson’s newsletter, with a circulation of approximately 10,000 readers, as well as recognition through our annual Honor Roll of Donors.
