Several Chicago Public Schools are planning to add computer programming for kids in kindergarten as a part of the curriculum. While this is still a new addition to the classroom, it could benefit students a great deal. Computer skills are becoming increasingly important in the workforce, and many logical cues from programming can be applied to mathematics.
