Co-hosted by Erikson Institute board members Peggy Lim and Sabrina Gracias, this two-part event—presented in partnership with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP)—offers a timely and impactful exploration of youth mental health. The first session features a compelling dialogue with leading mental health experts who share both personal stories and professional insights into suicide prevention, aiming to foster understanding, reduce stigma, and inspire action.

Peggy Lim
Peggy Lim, a former Erikson trustee whose philanthropic vision and steadfast commitment to mental health and suicide prevention have shaped institutions and inspired deeper investments in care and healing. Peggy has a B.S. in Finance and International Business as well as an M.A. in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from New York University, as well as an AMS Montessori Certification.
Sabrina Gracias
Sabrina Gracias is the founder of Ortus Foundation, advancing mental health for youth through prevention, research, and systemic change. She invests in innovative mental health solutions and is a partner at Bridge Builders Collaborative. Her philanthropic roles include board positions with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital Chicago, and several other suicide prevention and mental health organizations.

Philip Martinez
A Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over 25 years of experience, Phillip has been dedicated to suicide prevention since 2006 after losing his cousin. He specializes in supporting teens and families.
Anne King
A Board Member of AFSP Illinois since 2022, Anne has championed suicide prevention since 1996. She leads community education, advocacy, and support through Project Sun, teaches multiple AFSP programs.
