Margo Sipes has worked with children and families for 49 years. She has a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and a master’s degree in human development with a specialization in administration and supervision. She is a recently retired executive director of a non-profit, early education and childcare organization in Baltimore City.

Margo is also a teacher trainer. She has presented in-service, early childhood education trainings both locally and nationally. She has taught college classes both in-person and online and finds the two experiences to be very different.

Margo is married to her best friend, Susan, has three grown children from a previous marriage, and two grandchildren.

Margo is fascinated by how people learn; it is complex and non-linear.

Margo Sipes has worked with children and families for more than 50 years. She has a BA degree in early childhood education and an MA degree in human development with a specialization in administration and supervision. She is a retired executive director of a non-profit, early education and child care organization in Baltimore City, serving a diverse racial, ethnic and socio-economic population, including families enrolled in Early Head Start, Head Start, families who qualified for subsidized tuition, and families who paid full tuition.

Margo lives on the east coast, is married to her best friend, Susan, has three grown children, and two grandchildren.
