Facilities
Erikson’s current campus is a new facility built specifically for our educational, research, and clinical activities. With nearly 75,000 square feet on three floors, the campus features high-tech classrooms and seminar spaces; a significant expansion of the Edward Neisser Library; a computer training room and a computer lab; teaming rooms and group study rooms; and space for research and programs that directly serve children and families. The building’s two-story dedicated lobby entrance and prominent street signage give Erikson striking visibility in Chicago’s vibrant River North neighborhood.

Directions
By car
From Lake Shore Drive, northbound or southbound
- Exit at Illinois/Grand Avenue.
- Take Grand Avenue approximately 1 mile west to LaSalle Street
- Turn left (south) on LaSalle. Erikson is one block south on the left, on the corner of LaSalle and Illinois.
From I-90/94 (Kennedy expressway), northbound or southbound
- Exit at Ohio Street
- Continue east on Ohio approximately one mile to LaSalle Street.
- Turn right (south) on LaSalle. Erikson is one block south on the left, on the corner of LaSalle and Illinois.
From I-290 (Eisenhower expressway)
- Take I-90/94 West exit toward Milwaukee.
- Exit at Ohio Street.
- Continue east on Ohio approximately one mile to LaSalle Street.
- Turn right (south) on LaSalle. Erikson is one block south on the left, on the corner of LaSalle and Illinois.
By public transportation
Erikson is easily accessible via public transportation. The Chicago
Transit Authority’s #65 Grand Avenue and #156 LaSalle bus routes serve
our location. The #22, #29, and #36 buses and the Grand subway stop on
the CTA Red Line train are within three blocks. For additional routing
and fare information, visit the Chicago Transit Authority. Several Metra rail lines also serve the downtown Chicago area; visit the Regional Transportation Authority for information.
Parking
Discounted parking is available at three locations.
- Greenway Self-Park, on the northeast corner of Kinzie and Clark streets. (2 blocks from Erikson). The entrance is off Kinzie.
Rates: $11 if you park before 3 p.m. and $2 after 3 p.m., Monday through Friday; $2 on Saturday (no discount on Sunday). All rates are for up to 12 hours. - Mart Parc Orleans deck, located at 437 North Orleans with entrances on Orleans and Hubbard (3.5 blocks from Erikson).
Rates: $12 if you park between 5 a.m. and 3 p.m. (for up to 12 hours); $9 after 3 p.m. and all day on weekends. - Mart Parc Wells (only weekdays after 3 p.m.) on the corner of LaSalle and Kinzie. The garage can be entered from Kinzie or Wells, depending on your direction of travel.
Rates: $6 after 3 p.m. Discounted parking is available only after 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. No discount is available on weekends.
Note: To receive discounted rates, request validation tickets from the security desk in the main lobby. Please make sure to indicate the garage where you parked to receive the correct validation ticket.
Hotel Accommodation
Amalfi Hotel Chicago, located at 20 W Kinzie, Chicago, IL 60654, offers discounted rates to all Erikson students, faculty, staff, and friends.
Individual reservations can be made by calling toll-free (866) 676-9946. They can also be made online at www.amalfihotelchicago.com. Simply enter ERIK for your event ID to get the best available rate for your reservation.

These rates do not include tax (15.4%), and are subject to availability and black-out dates. If you find a lower rate for the Amalfi Hotel on the same dates, please contact Erikson’s representative at the Amalfi, Nick Ditter, at (312) 395-9094. He will match the lower rate and provide a complimentary upgrade based on availability. For comparison, Amalfi’s typical room rate is $339–$429 per night.
